Oh hi! If we haven’t met, I’m Kate — a multi-hyphenate of creative endeavors (more simply, a Pisces) stomping the streets of New York City. I had a bucolic New England childhood filled with music, theatre, books, and playing a lot of The Sims. Even though I never got to fulfill my childhood dream of playing Annie, I knew that a life of creativity was meant for me.
After earning my BFA in Musical Theatre (and English Lit minor!) from Penn State University, I burst onto the New York scene. When it comes to creative projects, I’ve dabbled in anything and everything! I’ve been fortunate enough to perform off-Broadway and act an absolute fool at some of the most prestigious regional theaters across the country. I’m a seasoned event host, both virtually and in IRL, and I’m bringing the party to any event, from a high-end gathering to a corporate trivia icebreaker. I rocked in a Lady Gaga cover band at the world-famous Cafe Wha? in Greenwich Village. And believe it or not, I’m also an award-winning published essayist! I was able to parlay my love for Real Housewives into a role working on social media campaigns for Bravo TV — in the words of God’s favorite Housewife, Lisa Barlow, “I’m on play all the time.”
When I’m not trying to have it all, you can spot me at my local library checking out three books at a time, baking in my apartment, shaking in Pilates class, or working on my digital newsletter, Musings of a Muse. I’m also a co-host of “Lounge Lizards Podcast” with my girlfriend, comedian Ashlynn Salzano, where we chat about allllll of the television and movies we’re watching. It’s available on all streaming platforms — check us out!
